WHAT IS EvalCOMIX-FLOASS?​

The EvalCOMIX-FLOASS environment is technology which facilitates the process to monitor and assess learning outcomes.

 

It is based on assessment-as-learning.
It is a built-in plugin which follows Moodle standards.

WHY IS THE ENVIRONMENT USEFUL?

1 MANAGEMENT

Managing each subject’s learning outcomes and skills.

3 PLANNING

Planning the assessment which includes:
  • Linking each instrument to the product or action which will be assessed.
  • Assigning roles through participative assessment methods (self- and peer-assessment) plus assessment by teachers.
  • Weighting the scores in each assessment method.
  • Picking from among individual and group assessments with specific student and group assignment.
  • Opting to include all assessments or setting a specific threshold.

2 DESIGN

Designing different assessment instruments and how to manage them, connecting learning outcomes and skills.

4 RUNNING

Performing the assessment via self-assessment, peer assessment and teacher assessment.

5 INFORMATION

Obtaining information on how far learning outcomes and skills have been achieved through reports from all the students, work groups and individual reports.

WHAT DO USERS THINK?

With the EvalCOMIX-FLOASS environment, we have been able to connect the learning outcomes determined in the course programme with specific tasks and, most importantly, monitor in detail how students on the course are completing them.

Compatible with version 3.6 to version 4.2 of Moodle.

All data is protected by the institution running that specific Moodle.

It is available in: Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Galician, Greek, English, Italian and Polish
